I bought the Keurig machine several days ago, along with the My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter, and several 12 packs of K cup coffee selections...I wanted the pre-made K cups for when I was in a hurry and had planned to use the reusable basket filter as my "go to" method. I was VERY disappointed!!!! both the mess and the weak resulting brew led me here, to the DisposaKup Filters. I read all of the reviews, not sure if they would work for me. I figured I would take a chance and ordered 200.Amazon had them here in 2 days, and I rushed to give them a try....I inserted one into the basket filter added my Gourmet Blend (I have it roasted for me by a local company...yes, I'm a coffee snob) secured the screw-on lid, and brewed the first cup...The brew was less than impressive......but, the filter was easily removed to the compost bucket (great for gardens) and clean up was a snap.This morning I tried a new approach...1. Remove the foil top from a used K cup.2. Remove the internal filter.3. Trim off the upper lip of the K cup.4. Push the K cup into the My K cup basket adapter until the trimmed edge is even with the top of the adapter.5. Drop in a DisposaKup filter.6. Fill with your "special" blend. (I use an espresso grind)7. Secure the lid, and brew.The brew is PERFECT .... !!!!! Remove the lid and the filter and its contents slip easily into the compost bucket (or trash). Lightly rinse, and you are ready for the next brew.The insert remains in the adapter, which can be used with tea bags as well.Apparently, the filter basket does not retain the same pressure and restrict the flow of the heated water as well as the pre-made K cup. The result is a weak brew...Now I get a perfect cup of gourmet coffee with absolutely no mess and easy clean-up. It just doesn't get any better than that!!!!

I use these filters with my ekobrew filter. I do not get the sediment in the bottom of my cup as much. They work great as well as the ekobrew product.
