I use this for *coffee* brewing not *espresso* brewing. I have a single brew coffee machine from Cuisinart that uses coffee pods. These filters work wonders because of the extra edge it has, I can fill it with coffee then fold the edges in. I have tried other methods and the coffee grounds always end up leaking out, causing clogs. I have no leakage problem with these filters. Now I can enjoy all my favorite coffee grounds with my single brew machine using these filters. Wonderful product!

The filters seal quick and easy for a solid seal. But would not buy if planning on using with Hamilton Beach Senseo model 49970. Brews way to weak, try fine to medium ground, slow down water flow, but nothing worked. Maybe double or triple brew would do the trick, but not worth the hassle then. Would guess that the senseo coffee is mfg. special way to brew with water running over so fast. Was just hoping to save a few $$ on pod purchases, Oh well they are not that much $.
