I got these for one reason and one reason only: to deal with the nasty silt that accumulated using my reusable, non-keurig brand, k-cup pod. I had a very nice pod, but ended up packing it away when my cups were always filled with silt. I somehow misplaced it after a move and got the 4 for $10 as seen on TV reusable pods at my local grocery store. Them, plus the filters equals a delicious cup of coffee from my Keurig with out a lot of waste and cost. There is really only one down side, they are a little small, so I can't get as strong a cup of coffee as I may like, but that can be remedied with a different type of grind. I read review after review trying to find out if these would cut back on silt, but none that I saw stated one way or the other. I decided to bite the bullet and just order them. Well, I'm glad I did, because that's exactly what they do. So, if that's what you're curious about, no more wondering. And they still taste like K-cups, not gross drip coffee. Plus, they arrived very quickly in minimal, recyclable packaging :)
