STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

The product works, but not very well. The thing is that in order to get a shot of espresso of good strength (as the normal espressos you get with the regular lavazza capsules), you have to press the coffee hard into the capsule of course, to fit enough coffee in the small capsules. If you use less coffee, you get a weak espresso, and with no "crema". That is all right, no problem. But when you do that with these capsules, the lavazza point machine does not have enough force to push the water through these reusable capsules.So why does this happen with the reusable capsules, and not with the normal capsules? The problem lies in the fact that normal capsules have only one paper filter inside, on the bottom of the capsule, and not on the top. The top does not need a paper filter, since the holes in the regular capsules are very small, so the coffee does not escape upwards.But these reusable capsules use two filters, one on the bottom and one on the top. These ones need a paper filter on the top, since the capsules are badly designed, and the holes on the top are way too big: if you do not use the paper filter on the top, the coffee escapes upwards through these large holes (and according to some experiments I did, it apparently blocks the machine pipes, you can unblock them using an old regular capsule and letting the water flow for a while). But if you use two filters, that is way too much additional resistance for the water to go through. And the lavazza point machine does not have enough force to push the water through, so you only get a very, very slow flow of water (you get actually only drops of water). By the time the espresso cup is full, your coffee is already cold.So, in conclusion, I would not recommend buying these capsules, unless you are ok with a poor espresso, only to have something with caffeine to keep working.UPDATE: the capsules work much better if you manually drill the holes in the bottom paper filter. You can use a very thin needle, or a used staple. Then you get a coffee with a similar strength as the ones that you get with the regular lavazza capsules, but still not as good.

This Doesn't Work. Water doesn't pass through the pod easily enough to work. Half the amount goes through while the other half ends up in the pod catcher tray. What makes it to the cup is diluted and equivalent to a light drip brew.I saw some comments about the holes at the bottom not being big enough so I enlarged them to see if that would help, it didn't make any significant difference and after trying a different grind with the same results I stopped all together in fear of doing damage to my machine.This product feels cheap from A-Z. No instructions, no logos, the packaging was sloppy and the plastic pods started to bow and become deformed after only a few uses.I was looking forward to trying different brews, and saving money but this product failed from A-Z.
