Capresso 4451.01 10-Cup Glass Replacement Carafe with Lid for Capresso Coffeemaker, BlackThis purchase was to replace the original carafe we had broken. The pouring lip of the replacement carafe is much better than the original carafe that came with the coffeemaker. The original carafe would drip and leak when pouring from a full carafe. The new one does not do this. I would have broken the old one a long time ago if I had known it had been improved! Worth purchasing if you have this problem.

There's not much to say, it's a glass replacement carafe, it fits. This is our 3rd one, I guess we should be more careful when washing them. Perhaps it is a bit thin, as we haven't broken other glass items. I wish they sold a thermal carafe to fit our old machine.

I had chipped my original on the top years ago, but was able to file it down so it was smooth, and continued using it. It finally cracked from where the chip was, had to get a new one. Glad I checked Amazon. Capresso wanted $25.00 plus shipping, was cheaper at Amazon, with free shipping. Works as expected.
