I'm particular about my coffee which is why I grind whole beans from a local roaster each morning. This product insures that residue left after the daily grinding of beans can be cleaned out without harming my grinder or my next cup of coffee. I use every couple of months. I weigh out about 25-30 grams of the pellets. Always grind a small amount of beans after which must be thrown away to remove all traces of the cleaner. A soft bristle brush is helpful too.
